DEREK LIVINGSTON

"Snowboarding was this new sport that had no rules and was all about the freedom of expression in the way you ride. This is what I have come to love about the sport, you do it your way with nothing holding you back." -derek livingston

ABOUT

Canada native, Derek Livingston, grew up ripping around the mountains, or there lack of mountains, in Collingwood Ontario. After watching his older brother snowboard, Livingston was soon to follow in his footsteps - making his first turns on a board at the age of eight. It wasn’t long before Derek had established himself as one of the preeminent threats in Halfpipe snowboarding. A four time National Champion, Derek has also had two back to back 1st place finishes at Snowcrown in Blue Mountain, and represented Canada at the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. When Livingston isn’t down in Colorado training, or travelling to contests around the world, you can often find him by the lake with friends or out for a quick round of 18 holes.
